Anusha Gupta

Associate Scientist

Anusha studied Pharmacology at Newcastle University, where she got fascinated by drug discovery and cancer therapeutics. She pursued her passion at Imperial College London via an MRes course in Drug Discovery and Development. She gained extensive experience in a multidisciplinary lab, working on deciphering the mechanism of action of an anti-cancer drug developed in the group. Anusha returned to Newcastle in November to join the Lung Platform at Newcells. Outside of the lab, Anusha is obsessed with food, photography, the gym and books.
