B.A. Mod. Genetics and MSc. Immunology from Trinity College Dublin.

Irish gal currently doing a PhD in Stem Cell Biology with Prof. Majlinda Lako in Newcastle University. This is in partnership with Newcells Biotech and the MSCA ITN consortium StarT. My project aims to identify the missing inheritance in monoallelic Stargardt disease cases through retinal organoid modelling and long-read RNA sequencing.

I am passionate about retinal research and excited to be working in a field where many breakthroughs in drug discovery and gene therapy occur often.  I love that my research could one day help improve the life of patients living with blindness.
