Miss Madalaine Kay

Originally from Greater Manchester, Madalaine moved to Aberdeen in 2014 for 4 years to complete her degree in Pharmacology with Bio-business (Hons). The time there fed her fascination for tissue culture and disease modelling which ultimately evolved into her enrolling and completing her Masters in ‘Tissue Engineering for Regenerative Medicine’ at The University of Manchester in 2019. Madalaine now work as part of the Retina team at Newcells to generate Retinal Pigmented Epithelial cells. Outside of work, Madalaine spends her weekends usually painting and sketching, open water swimming or finding places to go for nature walks.
