A Newcastle native. Claire studied Biochemistry at Sheffield Hallam university and did a placement year as a research technician as part of the course at the Sheffield Institute for Translational Neuroscience (SITraN) looking at neurodegenerative diseases. She then started at Newcells as a brand new graduate in the kidney team! Claire plays many an instrument, keeps many a houseplant and loves to swim in the North Sea…Yes, that’s the North Sea folks…hat’s off, that’s hardcore!
