MRes in Immunobiology and BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Newcastle University.

Nine months experience working in the biotechnology industry. Previous experience working with in vitro models such as models of the gut at Newcastle university. Experience in investigating renal diseases and novel therapeutics for such at Newcastle University. An honorary Geordie with an interest in karate (green belt), origami and baking. Passionate about renal research and in replacement, reduction and refinement of the use of animals in research.
